Shifting From Reactive Management To Preventative Wellness

Empowering Health Through Innovative Technology

Preventive Health Technology
Prioritizing Prevention, Prioritizing Health

MD Preventative Solutions is dedicated to revolutionizing health through advanced technology. The Bio photonic Scanner, created by the National Institute of Health, is the only non-invasive method of determining the absorption of antioxidants (carotenoids) on a cellular level. This measurement is more accurate than a blood serum test and equal in accuracy to a biopsy and only takes 30 seconds to perform.

This provides physicians with a tool to assess their patients health on a cellular level helping determine the body's level of defense against free radicals. Our non-invasive carotenoid level measurement provides valuable insights into antioxidant absorption at the cellular level, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.

Our Mission

We are committed to empowering both physicians and patients in their pursuit of optimal health. Through innovative preventive health technology, we believe that taking proactive measures can lead to a healthier and longer life. Join us on this journey towards better health and well-being.

The amount of antioxidants that you maintain in your body is directly proportional to how long you will live.

The Bio Photonic Scanner is based on advanced Raman spectroscopy, a well-established scientific technique adapted for biological measurements. Pharmanex holds exclusive rights to this patented technology, making the scanner the first and only device capable of non-invasive measurement of carotenoid antioxidant levels in living human tissue.

Validated by years of research, this groundbreaking technology is supported by over 110 full-length peer-reviewed articles detailing key studies conducted with the device. The scanner has been showcased at numerous prestigious scientific meetings and conferences worldwide, solidifying its reputation as a reliable, science-backed innovation in health assessment.

Why are Antioxidants/Carotenoids Important

Carotenoids are a group of naturally occurring pigments that give various fruits, vegetables, and plants their vibrant colors, ranging from yellow to red and orange. These compounds are a type of phytonutrient, which means they are beneficial plant compounds with potential health-promoting properties. Carotenoids are primarily found in photosynthetic organisms, such as plants, algae, and certain bacteria. Carotenoids play a crucial role in supporting the cell protective work of non-carotenoid antioxidants in our bodies. They act as defenders and providers, helping these antioxidants to replenish themselves and continue their vital functions.

Some common carotenoids include:

  1. Beta-carotene: A well-known carotenoid found in carrots, sweet potatoes, and leafy greens. It can be converted into vitamin A in the body, which is essential for vision, immune function, and skin health.

  2. Lycopene: Found in red and pink fruits like tomatoes, watermelon, and pink grapefruit. Lycopene is a potent antioxidant and has been linked to a reduced risk of certain cancers and heart disease.

  3. Lutein: Found in leafy greens like spinach, kale, and broccoli, as well as in corn and egg yolks. Lutein is essential for eye health and may help reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

  4. Zeaxanthin: Often found alongside lutein in green leafy vegetables and eggs, zeaxanthin also plays a crucial role in supporting eye health, particularly in protecting the retina from harmful light.

  5. Alpha-carotene: Similar to beta-carotene, it is found in various fruits and vegetables, including carrots and winter squash. It is also a precursor to vitamin A.

Carotenoids are not only responsible for the vivid colors of plants but also serve as powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants help neutralize harmful free radicals in the body, which can protect cells from oxidative damage and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and certain cancers. Including a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables in the diet can ensure adequate intake of different carotenoids and their associated health benefits.

Free radicals are unstable molecules that can cause significant damage to our cells, accelerating aging and contributing to various diseases. These harmful molecules are generated naturally through metabolic processes but are also increased by external factors like pollution, processed foods, smoking, and UV radiation. When free radicals outnumber the body's ability to neutralize them with antioxidants, they trigger oxidative stress, which can damage DNA, proteins, and cell membranes. Over time, this damage ca lead to inflammation, weakened immune function and a higher risk of chronic conditions such as heart disease, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer. Protecting your cells from oxidative stress with a diet rich in antioxidants, proper supplementation and a healthy lifestyle is essential for longevity and optimal health.
